Rice, rice, and more rice

Jacob has been super busy lately getting his rice ready to harvest. They should be cutting their first field in the next 2-3 weeks. Since he has been so busy we haven't had a lot of time to hang out, so I have been going with him on Sunday's to check fields. I however being the precious flower that I am ;) sit in the truck with the AC blowing, playing on Jacobs laptop.

See I got out of the truck

Jacob was talking to the helicopter pilot who was flying his fields.

A different field last week

Last week my parents came to town for work and play. We had a lot of fun with them, and I enjoyed not having to cook for 4 nights. Which is probably a good thing cause I might have lost some fingers if I had. I was cutting up a watermelon on Saturday morning and the knife fell off the counter, as I jumped out of the way so it would stab my foot, I ended up slicing my finger open.
Later on Sat we went to Galveston for the day had some shrimp and played around.

Not much else has been going on. I am really enjoying my job, I LOVE my babies and I will be so sad next month when they move up to the next class but I am also excited to get a new bunch of babies to play with. The other day we had picture day at school, I wasn't prepared for it but I think mine turned out pretty good.

I will really try to update more often sorry I have been slacking lately.
