Busy Busy Busy

We had so much fun at Nathan & Erin's wedding on Saturday. Congratulations!!!!

Somehow we always end up matching. I had originally planned on wearing a green dress but that plan fell through and we both ended up in blue.

Sadly my new sewing machine has not arrived yet. I am hoping the UPS man shows up today or tomorrow. When it does finally come I already have a few projects in mind.

I think those stockings are just ADORABLE!! Im not sure they are practical for "stuffing" but I think I need to make them. You can make them too, click here to learn how. (scroll down the page)

My ironing board is so boring I want a cute one like this!!! Check out how to make your own here.

My sister and I are also trying to get a little internet business going. We make baby items, so I need to start making some cute receiving blankets, burp cloths, tabby blankets, and tabby toys.
We will definitely let everyone know when we get it started so you can tell all your friends about us.

Jacob is still planting so he has had a few late nights. he is normally home by 8-9 every night although last Friday he didn't come home till 1am!! I will see if I can get him to do a post during his free time explaining what all he does.

For Easter we went to see Jacobs family in Round Top. His aunt and uncle Don and Jaime live there with his Granny Peg. We are so lucky to have family close! Jacobs Cousin Dax, his wife Rhonda, and their kids Blake, Tristan, & Devin were there. Watching the kids egg hunt was HILARIOUS!! Devin kept trying to run but his eggs would fall out of his basket. Tristan saw this and decided it was an easy score, so he followed Devin around picking up all his dropped eggs. Rhonda and I were about to wet ourselves from laughing so hard.

I got a job!! It is at a pre-school called My Place Early Learning Center. I am the infant/toddler "teacher". It is so much fun!!! The only thing is that I come home everyday covered in dried crusty baby food, snot, and baby vomit. The plus side to that is I get to wear scrubs to work everyday. If you have never worn scrubs you do not know what you are missing out on, they are sooooo comfy!!!

Hopefully my sewing machine will come soon and I will have more to blog about.
