What a week!

I left Katy last Tuesday morning to head to Lubbock so I could be there to celebrate Gracie's life. It was such a beautiful service, I am glad I was able to make it.

Tuesday night I saw Kourtney and Macy's mom (the girls I used to pick up from school.) She hadnt told them that I was in town, so I told her not to and I got to surprise them at school on Wednesday. I enjoyed getting to see them again they are so much fun!! Wednesday was also my birthday I enjoyed getting to spend it with my family. I got to spend lots of time with Kate and Crew which of course was fantastic!

 Bob the Builder is serious business

Apparently there has been a stomach bug going around Lubbock...well considering most of my family has had it I should have known I was going to get it too. I spent Thursday night and all day Friday in bed and on the couch trying to recover.

I left Saturday afternoon and it seemed like the LONGEST drive ever!! It was all worth it when i got home because this handsome fella and his parents were at my house to visit.

We went to Galveston on Sunday and met up with Nonna and Poppa (my grandparents) and my cousin Jessica for Lunch at Stingarees in Bolivar. It was hands down the BEST shrimp I have EVER had. It was worth the hour long wait for the ferry :) We then went to the other side of the island and took Yager to the beach for the first time. He wasnt sure what to think of the sand and water but I think he had fun.

It was nap time...can you tell??

He did such a great job and we had so much fun! I cant wait for them to come back when its a little warmer and we can get in the water and play.

Monday Jacob had to work so we went to see him. We saw the rice dryers, a bunch of farm equipment, and a  few dead rats :)

We went to Katy Mills Mall where there is a big Bass Pro Shop we tried to show Yager the fish but I think Jacob and I ended up scaring him for life. He wasnt a big fan. He got to go on a merry-go-round ride which he loved, I hoever got sick just watching it go around and around.

We had a lot of fun and were so glad we go to see so much family this week. We didnt get any pictures with Nonna, Poppa, or Jessica but I promise we did see them :)
